Sunday Lunch – May 20th The trustees are making plans to replace the faded carpet in the Narthex. We have received a contribution to begin the project; but need to raise an additional $6000. The YAT class has agreed to sponsor a Sunday Lunch on May 20th to kick-off this fundraising effort. The menu will be Chicken & Dressing w/all the trimmings and homemade desserts. Cost is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 10 and under. Additional contributions will be gratefully accepted. Please make plans to attend.
The Trinity Tribes Children's Ministry continues to explore the heroes of the Bible in April and May. All children are welcome to join us on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 for fun and fellowship as we learn more about God's Plan for our lives. If you are interested in volunteering to help in this vital ministry area, please leave your contact information with the church office stating that you want to volunteer. For our ministry to continue, we need to have more volunteers.
Easter Egg Mission – Trinity United Methodist Women would like to give a very warm and special "Thank You" to the children of Trinity for their help in handing out and taking up the Easter eggs, and to the congregation who so generously filled the eggs. Because of your love and generosity, many children and families will now have food to eat and income to help them live. The eggs 'produced' $961.00, which will go to the Haiti goat project to relieve suffering. We are so grateful to all of you who are willing to minister to 'the least of these'. Ann Millican, UMW President

from the mailbox…
To my Church family, Thanks so much for all your prayers, concern, visits, food and the prayer blanket you gave me, during my recent stroke. Claudell Hagan
Thank you so much for our farewell reception. Leaving friends you have loved for 25 years is something we had hoped we would never have to do. The reception gave us an opportunity to express to you how very much you mean to us. The food, well wishes, hugs, laughter and also the tears meant so much. Thanks to all of you who were involved in making the time so special. There is no other fellowship like that at Trinity and no other “family” that welcomes you as you welcomed us in 1987. Each of you has a very special place in our hearts and we will always remember you with love. Clyde & Shirley Hopkins
